In a recent initiative to enhance the integrity of our GitHub repository, we implemented a solution to counteract AI bot spam by leveraging Git's powerful –author flag. This innovative approach allowed us to identify and filter out unwanted contributions made by bots, ensuring that our codebase remains clean and reliable. By refining the way authorship is attributed in commits, we significantly reduced the clutter caused by automated submissions.
